House of the Future – Berlin

How will we live in the future? How do we want to live in the future? What are the challenges and opportunities of future developments? How can knowledge and research contribute? The HdZ Berlin is taking shape.

The exciting plans from the Berlin architects Richter and Musikowsky are highly progressive. The building is due to open its doors in 2017. With its new patented groove and tongue all-glass system, Petschenig glastec was able to realise the demanding facade design of the Berlin architects.

Frankfurt School of Finance and Management

“5/2020” is the strategic maxim of the Frankfurt School:

Multi-purpose rooms must meet the requirements for research, learning, teaching, working and networking. The campus needs to impress students and graduates, experts and managers, business clients and cooperation development organisations, scientists, faculty staff, management and administration, friends and neighbours as well as the citizens of Frankfurt. Facilities and provision for sport, cuisine and student living form a stimulating and unique habitat for everyone.

The new build is a challenging architectural expression of the Frankfurt School’s openness to people and organisations, to new issues, challenges and affairs.

Uniglas Facade Innovation Prize

We are proud to announce that the UNIGLAS FACADE composite wood and glass facade system won the window engineering innovation prize at Frontale 2016. The jury of renowned architects and planners were thrilled by the design opportunities of the frameless bonded structure.

Our efforts – together with our partners from research and industry – have paid off. A few days ago UNIGLAS FACADE was awarded the General Building Authority Approval and thus cleared the final hurdle on the way to widespread use of this energy-optimised facade construction.
